Mopani

A newer camp built beautifully into the surrounding rocky landscape, overlooking the massive Pioneer Dam. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Mopani is the newest of all the Kruger main rest camps and represents a departure from the traditional camp design. Nestled amongst striking mopane woodland, the buildings are constructed from natural materials that blend perfectly into the rocky environment. The camp’s massive viewing deck looks out over the Pioneer Dam, which is a magnet for massive herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as astonishing birdlife.
