Book on SANParksWhen to Book
- •SANParks opens bookings 11 months in advance — new dates release on the 1st working day of each month.
- •Lower Sabie, Skukuza, and Satara fill months ahead for June–September and December school holidays.
- •Bushveld camps (Biyamiti, Talamati, Shimuwini) have fewer units — book early even in shoulder season.
- •Wild Card covers conservation fees only — you still need to reserve and pay for accommodation separately.
Booking rules
- • Pay a deposit to confirm — balance due before arrival
- • Day visitors must also pre-book during peak periods
- • Check in at camp reception with ID and booking confirmation
- • Some bushveld camps check in at a parent camp (e.g. Maroela at Orpen)
Already have a Wild Card? See our conservation fees page for pricing tiers and Wild Card details.
